Sarah's Favorite Christmas Peach Crisp Recipe

Peach crisp made from canned peaches with ginger, lemon, and rosemary for a warm Christmas twist.

Ingredients
  

Peach Mix
  • 2 jars 24 oz canned peaches drained
  • 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 c. flour
Crisp Mix
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp chopped rosemary
  • 1/2 c. softened butter

Method
 

  1. Combine the Peach Mix ingredients in a bowl. Add the peach mix to an 8 inch square or similar backing dish.
    In a separate bowl, combine the Crisp Mix ingredients.
    Then top the peaches with the Crisp Mix.
    Bake at 400 degree F. for 30 mins.
    Optional: Top with powdered sugar and garnish with rosemary sprigs.
    Best served warm with a small scoop of vanilla or butter pecan ice cream.
